The Older You Are The Farther You See

When you’re an infant or toddler, you look at your feet and the few inches in front of you. When you’re a teenager or adolescent you tend to look down the road at the next or nearest traffic light. When you reach middle-age, you tend to look toward the horizon to see how much traffic is flowing or feeding into your city.

When you climb to the epitome of an elder, you tend to look up at the sky curiously and just wonder:


And then look down at you feet and softly sigh:


Then you likely carry on with your day because things need to be done…

Like attending that important meeting or delivering that showstopping presentation. Creating that next gadget, producing that next product or providing and previously never thought of service. You may also need to visit your grandmother no matter what your age.

I don’t know where I was going with this. Something about time, distance and perspective.
